Family Reunion 9/16/07

She's getting taller and smarter! She walks on her toes sometimes, too.


She really loves the outdoors.


She stole an old man's walker and went on the rampage! She had a very good nap afterwards!

Fish Camp 9/14/07

A friend had his birthday at a fish camp,
so we all went and ate lots of new food.

She ate the lemons on her own!
She loves sour things like lemons and pickles.
She hardly makes a face!


She likes hushpuppies (in hand), grits, and watermelon!
Such a southern belle!
She also likes her fun Daddy!

Coloring 9/12/07

Sweet girl! She loves to color.


She used Mommy's big sketch book paper.
She was occupied for an hour!


We have to watch her closely in these instances.
She will get up and color on anything!


She sings while she colors, too!
She'll roll around, sit up, kick her feet, etc.
It must be for inspiration in her artwork!

Bubbles & Hiding Places 9/10/07

Nursery is fun! (She goes with Mommy every Sunday)
She doesn't quite chase the bubbles yet.
She just learned to blow them herself!


She has a little cabinet under the TV that she claimed her own.
We let her use it to store important toys and interesting items.
We found a Wii remote, Daddy's keys, and the hair brush in there once!


She tries to shut the door, but when you help, she cries.
Her basket ball goal fits conveniently on the outside.
She uses it every day!

Mr. Gatti's Gameroom 9/8/07

A friend from work invited us to go to Mr. Gatti's with him
and his 3-year old daughter to have pizza and play games.

She wants to go play!
"Oooh!" (translation: Let's go play that one, Daddy!)


She really enjoyed the slide.
She kept climbing up the slide instead of finding the ladder.


Basketball is her favorite sport so far.
She is great at dunking, and is now trying her long-range throws.


"Yay, you did it!" She is a great clapper, too.

First Ice Cream Cone 9/7/07

She loves putting on everyone's shoes.
Daddy's seemed so comfortable today.


She loves Dora the Explorer.
She dances with all the music.

S hair cut!

Well, I finally did it! I got my hair cut for Locks of Love this week. It took so much bravery! Here's the last picture of my long hair . . . Chop Chop!!!

I asked for 6 inches to be cut, but they took 9 inches!!! Someone's going to have a nice wig! Anyway, it's over now, and I'm getting used to it. How can a person with short hair style it every day? I'm used to ponytails and buns (especially since I'm in the pool several times a week).
